Don't say: "I am laid-off because my company has hired someone else for a lesser salary than mine."

Say: "I am laid-off because I've developed more skills for a higher salary than my job paid."

Don't say "You don't give guidance to do my job well." Say "I need your guidance to do my job well."

Don't say "You are a liar." Say: "I need you to tell me the truth."

Don't say "I work hard and do a good job, but you never appreciate me." Say "I work hard and do a good job. I need you to appreciate me.

Don't say "You didn't help me." Say "You never helped me in that case. Refer to a specific event(s).
