Vocabulary Learning Tips

Never memorize words without a context. Learn new vocabulary by reading, writing and listening. Read every day something of interest to you. Pick one word at time, look it up in the dictionary and thesaurus. Google the word; type in the Google search "definition: word", for example, definition: gimmick, and then visit the links. See how the word is used by reading various references. Ask an English speaker about it. Consult us in LIVE-CHAT.
